Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican-American sportscaster. She works as an ESPN anchor of news and hosts SportsNation sometimes. She started working at ESPN in the year 2016. The child of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been since the age of nine. This skill helped her to get her first job with Univision, Miami. She had the opportunity to collaborate with national producers on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. It was the CBS affiliate located in St. Petersburg hired her following this to become the sports reporter. She moved in 2009 to Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become reporter for news on the Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. The reporter covered stories about drug trafficking and immigration both at the Texas and Mexico frontier, she served as a news reporter for both the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 Univision and Fox2 News. She was also often asked to substitute for an anchor for weather and sports. Then she anchor and wrote at Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was assigned more responsibility. She covered major events such as the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason and finals FC Dallas as well. Additionally, she was the producer of Univision 23's local sports program Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she was the anchor. The show was promoted to be anchor of sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She also played the position on Primer Impacto on UniMas Network as well as Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta was born in Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She's younger than her sister. The family moved in Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. The couple divorced shortly afterwards and in 1995, she married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. At the end of June 2006, she spent the week she spent with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. At the time of her senior year in high school and yet having a clear vision of what she would like to accomplish for her life, Antonietta attended at the University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her needs. She was in love with the campus. They also offered the college she had always wanted. Following the completion of her high school studies, she was accepted into the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU, of which she's a member. They had a very close connection. His passion for journalism and her self-confidence prompted her. In turn, she, tried to meet his standards and not let him down.
